Car Design Review is an annual book containing a review of the previous year’s design trends, personal insights

CDN hosts a series of expert presentations on subjects like virtual materials, the use of LEDs, and specific or advanced
techniques using Alias, Catia and similar software. The webinars are free to view, last about 45 minutes including Q&A,
and are archived on CDN so they can be viewed in future.

Car Design Night brings together professional designers who are attending motor shows at a high-level networking reception
in a relaxed, social environment. Held on the evening of the final press day at selected international motor shows, Car
Design Night has the support of leading designers at OEMs, independent studios and academic centres. It is currently held
in Geneva, Beijing/Shanghai and Los Angeles.

CDN’s Interactive Design Competitions use social media and a user-driven website to allow students to share their ideas,
inspirations, work-in-progress and draft designs with their peers and with design professionals.
With support and mentoring from leading OEMs like GM, the Interactive Competitions reward design development skills as well as
raw design talent. They are innovative ways of identifying the best of the next generation of designers, who win paid internships
as competition prizes and so launch their professional careers.

The Car Design Awards Global competition celebrates the finest work from students studying vehicle design and related
disciplines across the world. Working to briefs set by OEMs, and judged by a panel of senior design directors, the best of the
student work is presented to the global automotive design community, and prizes awarded, during the prestigious Awards ceremony
held alternatively at the Paris and Frankfurt motor shows.
Car Design Awards Global
This is a student design competition that focuses on the talent being developed in the world’s largest automotive market. Organised
in mandarin, the Car Design Awards China are for students at any design college in China, with briefs set and judged by design
directors from both domestic and global OEMs.
The Awards culminate in a glamorous presentation ceremony (in mandarin & English) at the time of the country’s international
auto show in Beijing or Shanghai.
