Junior Digital Designer

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, organised and passionate Junior Digital Designer to join our vibrant design team at our Hammersmith office.
The role is responsible for delivering effective, aesthetic, on-brand, and on-strategy creative for websites, email promotional creatives, social media and video. The Junior Digital Designer reports to the Design Director and works closely with the Marketing, Digital Project, Content and Commercial teams across multiple platforms.
This role offers the successful applicant the opportunity to work across several brands and channels, and to gain a wealth of experience across multiple design platforms and disciplines.
Job duties:
  • Produce the design and production for websites, product graphics, web logos, social media graphics and banners, static and rich banner ads, email campaigns, and email templates.
    Translate marketing and promotional strategies into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs.
  • Manage and produce digital design work, including banner sizing and versioning.
  • Ensure consistency of brand and creative across digital and print platforms.
  • Provide design support to clients to create product graphics, logos, identity design, or other similar offline/online graphics.
  • Video editing and preparation for upload.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills and qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in digital design, graphic design, graphic communications or related field.
  • Some professional design experience, preferably at a digital agency, in-house digital team or degree placement.
  • Strong portfolio of design work, showing solutions to communication through effective design, including digital and print.
  • Able to present concepts and lead internal teams to the creative solution.
  • Experience designing digital assets for websites and advertising.
  • Experience with digital publication platforms such as Mag+, Edition Digital, H5mag
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Good time management and personal accountability
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite products, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Xd, Premier in particular
