This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leader in B2B publishing and events as a Senior Digital Marketing Executive. We think it’s exciting because you will join our business at the start of a transition. Not replacing ‘the what’ we have built over many years but evolving more of ‘the how’.
We are investing in new websites, a new CRM platform and creating a single view of all of our customers and audiences who engage with our automotive platforms (Manufacturing, Logistics, Design and IT Technology) and channels including online, events and print.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing and delivering digital marketing campaigns for our portfolio of B2B automotive brands. In effect promoting our content to existing and new audiences online and at our events.
Key requirements for this role include:
At least 2-3 years’ digital marketing experience (preferably b2b)
Effective skills in acquisition marketing, using digital marketing techniques: lead generation, lead nurturing, content marketing, customer journeys, conversion rate optimisation, re-targeting, social media marketing, paid search / PPC, organic search / SEO • CRM / Email systems
Subscription based products / services experience would be beneficial
Marketing analytics and reporting skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
Advanced knowledge of Excel and excellent numeracy
Experience in campaign planning, implementation and analysis
Excellent copywriting and proofing skills with an eye for detail
Your role is expansive in that it includes:
Working with our editorial teams to acquire and engage our audiences with compelling content.
Collaborating with our marketing teams to acquire and engage attendees for our global events.
Ensuring our commercial partners achieve value for their marketing campaigns.
Working with our data team to leverage valuable insight.
You will be responsible for:
Driving the digital strategy for the B2B portfolio.
Generating and nurturing new sales leads.
Increasing website traffic through organic search and social referral.
Improving traffic to trial conversion by optimising the on-site journey.
Improve the user journey for both trials and subscribers on all websites
Run PPC campaigns using Google Ads to drive leads for sales
Test and run paid social media campaigns through LinkedIn and Twitter
Use social communities to drive traffic and inbound leads whilst being mindful of gaining Marketing consent post GDPR.
